Come help make Fort Stanton Veterans Cemetery ready for its Memorial Day Service on the 28th.

Don't forget......All are invited and get the word out.

Where:  Fort Stanton Veterans Cemetery

What:  Placing of 1,800 American Flags on all the graves.

Time:  3:00 p.m. sharp

Those who have family members or friends will be able to place the flags first.

Bring a tool to poke a hole in the dry ground to secure the flag.

The Spencer Volunteer Ushers offered to put the flags on the graves at Fort Stanton Cemetery on Friday 27 May 2016 at 3:00 p.m.  We welcome anyone who would like to help and especially encourage all who have relatives or friends buried at Fort Stanton to come as they will be asked to put the flags on first.   Taps will be played.
