Lincoln County Clerk’s Office wants to remind the public Tuesday, May
8th is the last day to register to vote to cast a ballot in the 2018
Primary Election. Voter registrations dated and post marked by May
8th will be processed if received by Friday May 11th
before the close of business. As a reminder only voters registered as
Democrat, Republican, or Libertarian party members can cast a ballot in the
2018 Primary Election!
One of the
most convenient ways to register is to do so online through the Secretary of
State’s Voter Information portal at: http://www.sos.state.nm.us you are
required to have a New Mexico Driver’s License or MVD ID to use this process.
If you would like a paper form to register please call or come by the Lincoln
County Clerk’s Office 1 800 687 2705 ext 6 and we will provide you with one.
Also
Registered Voters can check their Districts, Polling Locations, view Sample
Ballots; and download an Absentee Ballot Application through the
Secretary of State website or visit www.lincolncountynm.gov for similar
