IMPORTANT! Lincoln County Board of Commissioners holding a discussion of Nuisance & Zoning Ordinances within Lincoln County at their next Meeting on Tuesday March 15, 2022

The Lincoln County Board of Commissioners will be holding a discussion of Nuisance & Zoning Ordinances within Lincoln County at their next Meeting on Tuesday March 15, 2022. The revised proposed regulation concerning industrial activity along the NM 220 corridor is to be on the agenda. We encourage attendance by as many residents as possible to remind the Commissioners who they serve.

Additionally, a Bipartisan Statement from Chairpersons of the Republican Party of Lincoln County and the Democratic Party of Lincoln County, stating opposition to the proposed Alto Concrete Batch Plant, will be presented during the Public Comment period.

ALL PERSONS OPPOSING THE PROPOSED ALTO CONCRETE BATCH PLANT AND SUPPORTING THE NEED FOR ZONING IN LINCOLN COUNTY ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND.

The meeting will be held starting at 8:30 a.m. this Tuesday in the Commission Chambers of Lincoln County, 300 Central Avenue in Carrizozo. The Public Comment period is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. The Nuisance & Zoning Ordinances agenda item is scheduled as the second agenda item after the completion of the public comment period.

Folks unable to attend in person may participate in the meeting via Zoom. Zoom participants will be able to make comments during the Public Comment period, within a standard 3 minute time allocation. The full agenda and Zoom connectivity information is available at the link below:
